Advanced Manufacturing Relief Program

The NMA and KMA in partnership with Northumberland and Peterborough Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) with the support of FedDev Ontario through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund are providing manufacturers with direct services and consultations with specialists to offer expertise and relief solutions for sustainability when reacting, recovering and pivoting to position for growth in these unprecedented times.

The Advanced Manufacturing Relief Program provides each manufacturer with 3 to 5 hours of personalized training, expertise and advice led by experts in each of the following areas:

1. Health & Wellness Program for Your Employees & Management

2. Learning and Innovating with Your New Technologies

3. Health & Safety – Current and Future Regulations – Your Top Priorities

4. Human Resources – Employment & Labour Law

PROGRAM CRITERIA

  • Must be a Northumberland, Kawartha, and/or Peterborough Manufacturer.
  • Consultations must be completed between December 9, 2020 and February 20, 2021.
  • Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • There are no costs to the manufacturer. The NMA will be processing all fees and costs through our funding program.
  • Delivery of the consultations: preferred virtual, but can complete consultations in person abiding by local COVID health official recommendations at the time of scheduling the consultation.

NEXT STEPS

  1. Manufacturer - review the program documentation and fill out the attached application form.
  2. The NMA will receive the application form, notify the manufacturer they are approved and will notify the consultant.
  3. The consultant will reach out directly to the manufacturer to introduce themselves and schedule their consultations times/dates.
  4. The presenter will contact the NMA or KMA once the consultations are completed.
  5. The NMA/KMA will contact the manufacturer to complete a follow up survey to end their participation in the program.
  6. Deadline to complete the consultations: February 20, 2021
