Responsible for performing emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment, structures, as well as to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

  • Ensure all equipment is fixed in a timely manner utilizing your mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and welding abilities.
  • Keep current with technological changes and any governmental regulation changes regarding the performance of maintenance duties.
  • Monthly fire alarm testing
  • Ensure on-call availability for emergency services.
  • Ensures doors are locked or unlocked, turns lights on/off, electric panels are in working order as required
  • Contacts appropriate outside maintenance or suppliers as required
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Maintain standard of good housekeeping in the shop and on the plant floor.
  • Maintain in good condition company and personal tools
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Ensure that the ISO quality standards, Company quality requirements and individual customer quality requirements are maintained.
  • Communicate and provide support and expert opinion to management, COO, Purchasing and Shift Supervisor as needed.

Hourly paid position based on previous experience and/or level of Schooling
Flexibility in shift rotation*
*Shifts include Days and Afternoons – Must be available to work Midnights*
