Industrial Production Worker
TS Manufacturing a local family-owned manufacturer of Automated Machinery for the Sawmill & Material Handling sector, based in the scenic City of Kawartha Lakes. We design and manufacture in house and provide anything from a small single machine center up to multi-million dollar turn-key installations. Our product line is rather vast, and includes all sorts of multi-axis automated machines, including, troughed idler conveyors, Lumber Board Edger’s, Headrig Saws, Stacking Lines, Lumber Trimming Lines, Sorting Systems, and the list goes on. The successful candidate will be assigned a diverse variety of tasks to support our rapidly growing manufacturing operation. We are looking for candidates with experience in any combination of the tasks required to cut, fabricate, weld, assemble, package, organize, load/unload and generally support industrial equipment manufacturing.
Key Duties Include:
Fabricate metal components using a shear, bandsaw, drill press
Move material both manually and using cranes/forklift
Prep parts for next process (clean, de-burr, label, mask for painting)
Support shipping of product (packaging, banding, loading trucks)
Set up and operate hand and power tools (grinder, drill)
Work safely in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Desired Skills & Experience:
Proven experience measuring and cutting metal
Ability to work independently on a set of work instructions
Comfortable with heavy, physically demanding jobs
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment
Positive attitude and able to work in teams
Attention to detail and strong work ethic
Able to work after hours and weekends when required
Experience with forklift is required, experience with cranes is an asset
Experience with drilling, forming, plasma, torch welding is an asset

Project based overtime opportunities both for install work at customer sites and in shop additional hours to meet deadlines
