We help Canadians improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service. We carry out our mission through community service, and first aid, and CPR training.
Community Services volunteers include uniformed members who serve communities across Canada, providing first aid and emergency response support, as well as improving the quality of life for people confined to a health care facility through our Therapy Dog visitation program. As the Voice of Business, we are committed to fulfilling our mission and achieving our objectives and goals on behalf of the businesses of Trent Hills. Our Operations include Chamber of Commerce Business Centre, Visitor Information Centre, ServiceOntario Centre, Old Mill Park Docking Facility and the Direct Marketing Organization for Trent Hills.

Watton Employment Services Inc. (WES) offers cost-free services to employers including job postings, employer access to funding to offset training costs and recruitment services. Head Office is located at 9 Elgin St. East in Cobourg, Ontario. We also have offices in Whitby and Peterborough, as well as satellite locations in Colborne and Roseneath.
Workforce Development Board
The Workforce Development Board is a not for profit organization founded in 1997. It is funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) to provide the following services:
