AFTERNOON SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER

Kawartha Metals Corp is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Material Handler on our Afternoon Shift. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 3pm to 12am. The functional role of the Material Handler is to pull and load orders onto our trucks.

The successful candidate will possess;

·         Knowledge of the metal and steel industry

·         One to three years’ experience in wholesale/resale environment and manufacturing

·         Ability to work independently

·         Have excellent time management skills

·         One to three years’ experience operating a forklift

·         Clearly communicate in English both orally and in writing

·         Lift up to 70lbs

·         Demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner

The starting wage rate is $19 per hour plus a $1 premium to work on the afternoon shift.
