Afternoon Shift Material Handler

Kawartha Metals Corp is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Material Handler. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 12 am. The functional role of the Material Handler is to pull orders and assist customers.

The successful candidate will possess;

· Knowledge of the metal and steel industry

· One to three years’ experience in wholesale/resale environment and manufacturing

· Ability to work independently and as a team

· One to three years’ experience operating a forklift

· Clearly communicate in English both orally and in writing

· Lift up to 70lbs

· Demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner

The starting wage for this position is $18 per hour plus a $1 per hour premium for working afternoons.
